Salammm.
Hello~I am being so active blogging lately because I believe writing is one of the ways to neutralize all the negative feelings.
At 2 pm, I practiced on abdominal ultrasound as preparation for OSCE on 2nd January *pengsan because 3 will be the writing paper*! What an exciting & special moment because I scanned my own body! Hahaha. This was because my partner came late because she got things to be settled down. Struggling using both hands, one hand holding probe (the scanner) the other control the panel. Alhamdulillah, Allah gave us pair of hands. I couldn't imagine of doing things with one hand.
Ultrasound is one of my favorite subject! Yeah there is nothing easy in this world. Ultrasound is an operator-depending modality not like other imaging devices (MRI, CT) which means it is depending 100% on the person who operates it. Must be good in anatomy, imagination and of course being skillful. Anatomy helps in identifying the region you want to scan while imagination probably helps to identity what's structure is in the image because what you see is totally different than image in anatomy books. The skills, anybody can learn as long as you have patience in you. Being patient is the hardest part for me. So it's kind of training for me la to be patient. *(insert Take That song) Have a little patient yeahh.*
